MAQ Design, a home-based professional upholstery and drapery workshop, is solely owned and operated by MaryAnn Quinn, master upholsterer and seamstress who provides a ‘shop in your own home’ service or you may come to the workshop to select fabric by appointment only.

Sewing since forever, MaryAnn, having acquired an old chair in need, discovered a knack for upholstery and fabricating slipcovers post college years. Fast forward a few years later, MaryAnn left a software engineering job and turned her hobby into a home based business to stay home with young children. With many years of hands-on experience, your treasures will be artisan extraordinaire.

Turnaround time from the first appointment to the finished product can be anywhere from a few days to a few months depending on the size of your job, how long it takes you to select fabric and design, and how many jobs are on the agenda before yours. In any event, you’ll receive personalized service and periodic contact about your job status.

Once a best guess estimate is factored, a 50% deposit is required to start a job with the balance due on delivery for actual cost. Pickup and delivery can be provided.
